Have Fun in Spanish
In Level 1 of the Diviértete en Español book, you’ll find everything you need to learn or teach the Spanish language. Level 1 is divided into three parts: the first covers grammar concepts and crite-ria, the second part includes practical exercises, and the third part focuses on vocabulary.
Grammar
The grammar topics in Level 1 are structured into the following chapters: the alphabet, pronouns, articles, greetings and polite expressions, asking and answering questions in Spanish, regular verbs, the conjugation and use of the verbs ser and estar, learning the days of the week, the months of the year, expressing numbers, and telling time.
Exercises
The second part of Level 1 contains basic practical exercises that relate directly to the grammar top-ics covered in the first section. These exercises provide hands-on practice in: the alphabet, pro-nouns, articles, greetings and polite expressions, asking and answering questions in Spanish, regu-lar verbs, conjugating and using ser and estar, learning the days of the week, the months of the year, expressing numbers, and telling time.
Vocabulary
This section covers basic Spanish vocabulary. It enriches students who already have some knowledge of the language with a variety of essential words and expressions, and it’s also perfect for beginners. The chapters in this section offer vocabulary with images on topics such as: personal articles, body parts, sports, vocabulary related to the days and months of the year, names of musi-cal instruments, and daily life and household vocabulary, including school, family, and clothing.
